BETHESDA, MD –HMSHost, a part of Autogrill Group, announced today that it has finalized the acquisition of the airport restaurant assets of concessionaire Concession Management Services, Inc. (CMS). HMSHost will transition the operations of 16 dining locations at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) and McCarran International Airport (Las Vegas), effective August 20, 2016. The restaurant operations are projected to generate nearly $50 million in sales for 2016. The transaction aligns with HMSHost’s goal to continue strengthening its position as the leader of food & beverage services in airports throughout North America.
HMSHost, which already operates food & beverage locations in LAX and Las Vegas airports, will now transition the operations of 12 restaurants at LAX and four restaurants in Las Vegas from CMS. The restaurants at LAX include Panda Express, two locations of Marmalade Café, Rolling Stone Bar, Loteria Grill, BLD (Breakfast Lunch Dinner), and Wolfgang Puck. The restaurants at Las Vegas include Einstein Bros. Bagels, 360 Gourmet Burritos, Baja Fresh, and Carl’s Jr.
