The Kalamazoo/Battle Creek International Airport’s recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic hits a bright note on October 1st as United Airlines returns to the airport beginning Thursday. United had pulled their schedule for the months of July, August, and September as they navigate the impacts of COVID-19 on their own flight operations.
“We welcome United’s return to Kalamazoo and the access they provide to their extensive network of domestic and international destinations. Throughout the pandemic, United assured the Airport of their commitment to SW Michigan and their return confirms that commitment,” said Airport Director, Craig Williams.
United will operate one or two flights daily to/from their Chicago O’Hare gateway, depending on the day of week. The flights are timed to maximize the number of domestic and international connections over Chicago O’Hare. For booking and fare information contact your local travel agent or United Airlines at www.united.com.
PAVIX: Proven Winner for All Airport Concrete Infrastructure
International Chem-Crete Corporation (ICC) manufactures and sells PAVIX, a unique line of crystalline waterproofing products that penetrate into the surface of cured concrete to fill and seal pores and capillary voids, creating a long lasting protective zone within the concrete substrate.
Once concrete is treated, water is prevented from penetrating through this protective zone and causing associated damage, such as freeze-thaw cracking, reinforcing steel corrosion, chloride ion penetration, and ASR related cracking.
This white paper discusses how the PAVIX CCC100 technolgy works and its applications.
