SAN ANTONIO, TX – The City of San Antonio has named David Robbins as Assistant Director – Chief Development Officer for the San Antonio International Airport (SAT) and Stinson Municipal Airport (SSF). Mr. Robbins has a strong background in the government administration industry, bringing skills in airport facilities, operations management, negotiation, and sales. In his new position, he will oversee divisions that provide a broad range of management, contract administration, facilities asset management, and architectural / engineering services in the development and implementation of Capital Improvement Projects (CIP). He will begin his new position on January 21, 2021.
Mr. Robbins most recently worked for the City of Chicago Department of Aviation as Projects Administrator. While in this role, he was responsible for leading the Central H&R Plant Modernization Program and the North Airfield O’Hare Modernization Program. Mr. Robbins also served as a Department Manager for Wayne County Department of Public Works Parks Division in Michigan.

Mr. Robbins earned his bachelor’s degree in Aviation Management and a master’s degree in Interdisciplinary Technology from Eastern Michigan University.
