Fresno, CA - As air travel continues to recover nationwide, Fresno Yosemite International Airport (FAT) is prepared to welcome back passengers with enhanced health and safety measures. Our campaign “Ready to Move You Forward” highlights the new measures put in place to create a healthy and comfortable environment for the best passenger experience. Following best practices recommended by the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), FAT is working hand in hand with its airline and airport partners to ensure health and safety at all stages of travel.
“Together we are committed to maintaining the highest level of care for our passengers and help to reconnect people when they are ready to travel,” said Director of Aviation Kevin Meikle. “While we know there are travel concerns, we want to assure the public that the necessary precautions are in place to offer peace of mind while at the Airport and in the air.”
At the beginning of COVID-19, FAT took swift and proactive steps to help contain the spread of the virus and continues to take aggressive measures to safeguard passengers and the airport community. FAT remained open and fully operational over the last few months to facilitate essential air travel and the movement of cargo, military operations and specialty air units vital to supporting public safety.
As passenger and flight activity continues to increase, Ready to Move You Forward will also provide a platform for FAT to share updated health and safety initiatives as well as other helpful information for today’s traveler. A soon to be launched resource page on FATs website www.flyfresno.com will highlight the latest health and safety measures by the Airport and the airlines as well as special travel offers.
By continuing to follow the latest CDC and public health guidance, FAT is prepared for the safe return of passengers.
Latest Health and Safety Measures at the Airport
Passengers are encouraged to follow safe practices. Additionally, passengers should allow for plenty of time for airline check-in and security screening since enhanced health and safety measures may take additional time.

PAVIX: Proven Winner for All Airport Concrete Infrastructure
International Chem-Crete Corporation (ICC) manufactures and sells PAVIX, a unique line of crystalline waterproofing products that penetrate into the surface of cured concrete to fill and seal pores and capillary voids, creating a long lasting protective zone within the concrete substrate.
Once concrete is treated, water is prevented from penetrating through this protective zone and causing associated damage, such as freeze-thaw cracking, reinforcing steel corrosion, chloride ion penetration, and ASR related cracking.
This white paper discusses how the PAVIX CCC100 technology works and its applications.
