Fares as low as $59
SYRACUSE, N.Y. – Low-fare carrier, Frontier Airlines is celebrating the start of additional service from Syracuse Hancock International Airport (SYR) with launch of the only non-stop flights to Southwest Florida International Airport (RSW) and Tampa International Airport (TPA). Additional connections will be available to select cities across Frontier’s network. Officials will mark the day with a celebration at the Frontier ticket counter. To mark the start of this new, low-cost service, Frontier is offering fares as low as $59, which are available now at FlyFrontier.com. The new flights join Frontier’s existing service from Syracuse to Orlando and summer seasonal service to Chicago, Denver, and Raleigh.
“We are excited to be adding service and proud to expand our unique brand of Low Fares Done Right in Syracuse,” said Jonathan Freed, Director of Corporate Communications for Frontier Airlines. “Frontier is always looking for ways to make travel easier and more affordable, and our reimagined frequent flier program with family-friendly benefits and attainable elite status, as well as our reduced change fees – free if you make changes more than 90 days before you fly – are the latest examples of what we mean by Low Fares Done Right.”
Frontier offers customers the ability to customize travel to their needs and budget. For example, you can purchase options a la carte or in one low-priced bundle called the WORKSsm. This bundle includes refundability, a carry-on bag, a checked bag, the best available seat, waived change fees and priority boarding.
“We are excited to celebrate the launch of Frontier’s newest destinations from Syracuse and for their continued partnership with the airport authority,” said Christina Callahan CM, Executive Director. “With the addition of Fort Myers and Tampa, our customers now have even more affordable options to Florida.”
Frequency and times are subject to change, and customers can find the most updated schedule at FlyFrontier.com
Frontier customers have more options when they fly and there is no fee for reservation changes made 90 days or more from the travel date. Yes, that means no change fee. If you need to make a change between 89 and 14 days from departure the fee is only $49. Changes made 13 days or less from travel will be at the normal cost of $99. When making a change, customers just pay any increase in fare that applies.
The airline’s reimagined frequent flier program, FRONTIER Miles, lets members enjoy many benefits as well as attain Elite status. Like the airline, FRONTIER Miles is family friendly and the new program makes it easy for families to enjoy the rewards together, including family pooling of miles. FRONTIER Miles is aptly named, because you earn one mile for every mile flown – no funny formulas at Frontier. No matter whether a customer travels a little or a lot, they will find FRONTIER Miles rewarding.
Frontier flies the youngest and most fuel efficient fleet in the US airline industry, with 80 jet aircraft from the Airbus A320 Family.
