QUEBEC CITY, Canada – June 6, 2019 – JA Larue, a manufacturer of snow removal equipment that has product at airports around the world, celebrated the grand opening of the expansion of its Quebec City factory. It is the 4th phase of expansion since its foundation in 1973.
The expansion of 60,000 sq./ft ($4M) and the improvement of the existing building ($3M) provides Larue with a warehouse that can hold more than 1000 skid spaces, and a redesign of the production lines. This expansion helps to create 100 more snow blowers every year from the wide selection of 16 different customizable models of Larue equipment.
This investment creates 20 direct jobs at Larue and an estimated 100 indirect jobs in the Capitale-Nationale region. The expansion creates a safer and healthier environment for the employees which is a primordial point in the Larue management system. Their management system is based on five values: dedication, passion, respect, team spirit and innovation.
Larue also acquired a building in Boucherville and plans to move its Laval Branch to Boucherville by the end of June. PAVIX: Proven Winner for All Airport Concrete Infrastructure
International Chem-Crete Corporation (ICC) manufactures and sells PAVIX, a unique line of crystalline waterproofing products that penetrate into the surface of cured concrete to fill and seal pores and capillary voids, creating a long lasting protective zone within the concrete substrate.
Once concrete is treated, water is prevented from penetrating through this protective zone and causing associated damage, such as freeze-thaw cracking, reinforcing steel corrosion, chloride ion penetration, and ASR related cracking.
This white paper discusses how the PAVIX CCC100 technology works and its applications.
