Customers at T4 exchanged foreign currency for Worldwide Favorite items to benefit local charity
Queens, New York – June 13, 2019 – To celebrate its new Worldwide Favorites menu, the McDonald’s at JFK Terminal 4 – the international gateway to New York City – hosted a media tasting event and used McDonald’s International Currency Exchange to give back to Ronald McDonald House New York.
During the event, customers were able to exchange any amount of any international currency for one of McDonald's four Worldwide Favorites menu items – which included a Stroopwafel McFlurry from the Netherlands and the Grand McExtreme Bacon Burger from Spain – through McDonald’s International Currency Exchange. The McDonald’s at T4 donated the foreign currency collected from the exchange to Ronald McDonald House New York, which provides temporary lodging and care for more than 35,000 families while their child battles cancer.
“I can’t think of a better place than T4 for McDonald’s to celebrate the launch of their new international menu items,” said Roel Huinink, President and CEO of JFKIAT, the company which operates T4. “With more than 21 million passengers traveling through T4 every year, we serve as the international gateway for New York City and the rest of the United States. As such, we offer a wide range of exciting dining and retail options – including this McDonald’s – to accommodate travelers from all over the world.”

PAVIX: Proven Winner for All Airport Concrete Infrastructure
International Chem-Crete Corporation (ICC) manufactures and sells PAVIX, a unique line of crystalline waterproofing products that penetrate into the surface of cured concrete to fill and seal pores and capillary voids, creating a long lasting protective zone within the concrete substrate.
Once concrete is treated, water is prevented from penetrating through this protective zone and causing associated damage, such as freeze-thaw cracking, reinforcing steel corrosion, chloride ion penetration, and ASR related cracking.
This white paper discusses how the PAVIX CCC100 technology works and its applications.
