LAS VEGAS - On August 25-27, the senior executives and leaders in all areas of global aviation will meet in Las Vegas to discuss emerging changes that will affect all areas of transportation.
Boyd Group International, the leading aviation research and forecasting firm, is bringing this prestigious event back to Las Vegas, following a record-setting Summit held in the destination in 2017. The event is co-hosted by the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority (LVCVA) and Las Vegas McCarran International Airport.
"Las Vegas and its airport, McCarran International, are emerging as the leaders in transportation and travel thought-leadership," noted Michael Boyd, president of the Colorado-based aviation consulting firm. "The event is focused on futurist thinking, and Las Vegas is the perfect venue to encourage new perceptions."
Now in its 24th year, the Boyd Group International Aviation Forecast Summit has emerged as the industry's leading planning event, with attendees from all over the world. It’s a forum where airlines, airports, aircraft manufacturers, financial institutions and other key sectors come together to discuss the future and the exciting trends facing the industry.
“The Boyd Group International Aviation Forecast Summit provides valuable and exciting industry updates and predictions, and we’re thrilled to welcome the event back to Las Vegas,” said Steve Hill, CEO and President of the LVCVA. “As the aviation industry grows and changes, it’s incredibly important that its leaders and decision-makers experience our offerings first-hand. Every new seat to the destination and innovation in air travel affords us the opportunity to attract more visitors and strengthen our local economy.”
The Summit delivers forecasts for key sectors of the aviation industry, including passenger traffic projections, fleet trends, international cross-alliances, and airline industry strategies.
“McCarran International Airport is pleased to welcome back attendees of the Boyd Group International Aviation Forecast Summit,” said Clark County Director of Aviation Rosemary Vassiliadis, who oversees the nation’s ninth-busiest airport. “This summit annually brings together key leaders from airports, airlines, manufacturers and other stakeholders, providing each the valuable opportunity to discuss and examine what’s in store in this very dynamic industry. It’s also a perfect chance to showcase all that our airport and its surrounding community have to offer. We’re excited to see its return to Las Vegas later this year.”
