More than 800 participated in the June 15 event
MILWAUKEE (JULY 1, 2021) -- Milwaukee Mitchell International Airport’s recent job fair, which took place on June 15, resulted in the hiring of more than 100 individuals from Milwaukee County and surrounding areas.
Survey results compiled from employers and job seekers show that:
Job seekers were hired by airlines, airport concessionaires, TSA, and other service providers based at the Airport. Many other employers collected applications that they will keep on file for future recruitments.
“It was gratifying to see so many people at the Airport Job Fair. In fact, this was one of the busiest I have attended recently,” Milwaukee County Executive David Crowley said. “It was amazing to see so many individuals looking to get involved in the aviation industry and secure family-supporting jobs.”
The Airport partnered with Milwaukee County Human Resources and the Milwaukee County Office on African-American Affairs to promote the job fair within the community. Free parking vouchers and free Milwaukee County Transit System bus passes were also made available to all job seekers who participated.
“The Airport is part of the fabric of our community,” Airport Director Brian Dranzik said. “It belongs to all of us, and the more we all fly from MKE, the more jobs we will create for our friends, family, and neighbors.”

PAVIX: Proven Winner for All Airport Concrete Infrastructure
International Chem-Crete Corporation (ICC) manufactures and sells PAVIX, a unique line of crystalline waterproofing products that penetrate into the surface of cured concrete to fill and seal pores and capillary voids, creating a long lasting protective zone within the concrete substrate.
Once concrete is treated, water is prevented from penetrating through this protective zone and causing associated damage, such as freeze-thaw cracking, reinforcing steel corrosion, chloride ion penetration, and ASR related cracking.
This white paper discusses how the PAVIX CCC100 technology works and its applications.
