32,654 departing passengers screened on Sunday, Sept. 22
NASHVILLE - On Sunday, Sept. 22, a record-setting 32,654 departing passengers were screened through the TSA security checkpoint at Nashville International Airport (BNA), a new single-day record for BNA and a considerable increase over the comparable Sunday in 2018.
The previous record was set Sunday, May 5, 2019, with 29,731 screened passengers.
By the numbers:
On average, approximately 22,000 departing passengers are screened each day at BNA.
Having served more than 17.1 million passengers in Fiscal Year 2019, Nashville International Airport currently hosts 15 airlines and provides nonstop air service to 75 destinations.
