Waddinxveen, The Netherlands – EscaTEQ, the global leader in escalator cleaning systems and tools announces RAIL-TEQ® an all new, easy to use, hand held escalator handrail cleaning system costing only €125.00 and on sale globally today.
Escalator handrails are exposed to thousands of hands daily resulting in a significant build-up of dirt and pathogens. Cleaning escalator handrails has never been more critical as the world fights the spread of COVID-19. This is why we developed The Rail-TEQ System.
The thorough cleaning of escalator handrails is a critical part of any disinfection procedure, whether the disinfection is done chemically or with UV irradiation. Removing the dirt buildup from the handrails surface is an essential requirement of a disinfection procedure, as defined by the CDC, EPA and other governmental bodies.
The Rail-TEQ System cleans almost any brand or model of escalator or travellator handrail quickly, easily and effectively. It uses reusable, washable microfiber cleaning pads that have a sponge liner to hold enough Rubber-TEQ: a ‘quat’ based cleaning solution specifically formulated for safe and rapid dirt removal. In combination, the system makes quick work of handrail cleaning, allowing for the entire handrails critical surface touchpoints to be cleaned in as fast as 5-10 minutes thanks to its two-handed design, resulting in faster cleaning with less fatigue.
“Rail-TEQ is the result of extensive R&D and is, in our opinion, a significant breakthrough in escalator handrail cleaning at a critical time for any facilities that serve the public and demand safety and cleanliness. We believe it is the right tool at the right time and look forward to the positive feedback we anticipate from our clients across the world.” - Lex deRoeper, EscaTEQ

2022 Charlotte Douglas International Airport Report of Achievement
Giving back to the community is central to what Charlotte Douglas International Airport and its operator, the City of Charlotte Aviation Department, is about, and last year was no different.
Throughout 2022, while recovering from the COVID-19 pandemic, we continued our efforts to have a positive impact on the Charlotte community. Of particular note, we spent the year sharing stories of how Connections Don't Just Happen at the Terminal - from creating homeownership and employment opportunities to supporting economic growth through small-business development and offering outreach programs to help residents understand the Airport better.
This whitepaper highlights the construction projects, initiatives, programs and events that validate Charlotte Douglas as a premier airport.
