ORLANDO. FL. – As we begin a new decade, Orlando International Airport (MCO) ends 2019 on a high note. MCO is the busiest airport in Florida with more than 50.1 million passengers and 6.73 percent passenger growth over 2018, as calculated from a 12-month rolling total number in October. MCO has record holiday traffic plus access and connections to more than 150 domestic and international destinations. Orlando International has in excess of $41B in economic impact on the Central Florida region and MCO has some of the highest ranked bond ratings for an airport in the nation.
“We think 2020 is going to be more of the same,” says Phil Brown, Chief Executive Officer of the Greater Orlando Aviation Authority. “There are signs the economy is dampening a little but the thing about Central Florida is the tourism and leisure economy has been pretty resilient.”
Looking forward to 2020 at MCO:
PAVIX: Proven Winner for All Airport Concrete Infrastructure
International Chem-Crete Corporation (ICC) manufactures and sells PAVIX, a unique line of crystalline waterproofing products that penetrate into the surface of cured concrete to fill and seal pores and capillary voids, creating a long lasting protective zone within the concrete substrate.
Once concrete is treated, water is prevented from penetrating through this protective zone and causing associated damage, such as freeze-thaw cracking, reinforcing steel corrosion, chloride ion penetration, and ASR related cracking.
This white paper discusses how the PAVIX CCC100 technology works and its applications.
