Syracuse, New York – The Syracuse Regional Airport Authority (SRAA) is closely monitoring the Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19). At this time, Syracuse Hancock International Airport (SYR) is operating under normal conditions. The airport team is working to ensure that heavily traveled areas of the airport continue to be a priority for cleaning staff.
“Protecting the health and safety of our employees, passengers and guests remains our top priority. We will continue to monitor this disease and its potential impact on our operation,” said Jason Terreri, SYR Airport Director.
The airport is following the guidance of the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and the Onondaga County Health Department. The Onondaga County Health Department has provided a page on their website dedicated to questions related to COVID-19.
If passengers have questions related to upcoming flights, they should contact their airline directly. Several airlines have announced waivers of ticket change and cancellation fees.
The SRAA will provide updates as they become available. 1000
2022 Charlotte Douglas International Airport Report of Achievement
Giving back to the community is central to what Charlotte Douglas International Airport and its operator, the City of Charlotte Aviation Department, is about, and last year was no different.
Throughout 2022, while recovering from the COVID-19 pandemic, we continued our efforts to have a positive impact on the Charlotte community. Of particular note, we spent the year sharing stories of how Connections Don't Just Happen at the Terminal - from creating homeownership and employment opportunities to supporting economic growth through small-business development and offering outreach programs to help residents understand the Airport better.
This whitepaper highlights the construction projects, initiatives, programs and events that validate Charlotte Douglas as a premier airport.
