Fin Bonset, CM, Will Lead Aviation Services Practice Companywide ORLANDO, FLORIDA (January 29, 2019) – Fin Bonset, CM, has been promoted to Director of Aviation Services at VHB. He previously served as Manager of Airport Planning since joining the company in 2016. In his new role, Fin will work to advance and expand VHB’s solid foundation as a complete aviation service provider. “Fin possesses a deep understanding of airport master, feasibility, cargo, and terminal capacity planning, as well as simulation/modeling to provide our aviation partners with the full capabilities to develop visions for future airport improvements,” said Steve McElligott, PE, Senior Vice President and Transportation Market Leader. “His leadership will bring together VHB’s experience working at more than 60 airports throughout the United States, applying our integrated services approach to balance innovation with efficiency to address the most complex project challenges while maintaining operations.” Fin has more than 20 years of domestic and international airport planning and project management experience. He has served as chair, panelist, and speaker for multiple aviation organizations, such as TRB-ACRP, AAAE, ACC, FAC, and ACI. He serves as a board member of the Tony Jannus Distinguished Aviation Society and is the current Chair of the Airport Consultants Council Terminal and Facilities Committee. He is also an adjunct professor of aeronautics at the Florida Institute of Technology and a licensed commercial instrument pilot. He has guest lectured at Universities in Brazil and Chile and is a Certified Instructor for Simtra PathPlanner/AviPlan aircraft modeling and simulation software.
