SAN JOSE, Calif. – Today, San José Mineta International Airport (SJC) will host 11 local acts who will perform at the Airport as part of the City's Make Music San José program. The program coincides with festivities in more than one thousand cities worldwide as part of Make Music Day. Performances will occur at two locations within the Airport – the Terminal A Skybridge and adjacent to the Terminal B Information Booth – between 11 a.m. and 9 p.m. The schedule of performances includes professional and amateur musicians and a wide range of genres, including Pop, Latin, Folk, Soul, and even Kids’ music. Each performer or group will play a 30 – 60-minute set. “We are delighted to celebrate our City’s commitment to diversity and the arts by taking part in this international celebration of music,” said John Aitken, San José Mineta International Airport Director. “Travel provides such a wonderful way to experience music from around the world, and this is such a fun and memorable experience to share with our passengers while bringing our local and global communities together through music, right here in our terminals.”

PAVIX: Proven Winner for All Airport Concrete Infrastructure
International Chem-Crete Corporation (ICC) manufactures and sells PAVIX, a unique line of crystalline waterproofing products that penetrate into the surface of cured concrete to fill and seal pores and capillary voids, creating a long lasting protective zone within the concrete substrate.
Once concrete is treated, water is prevented from penetrating through this protective zone and causing associated damage, such as freeze-thaw cracking, reinforcing steel corrosion, chloride ion penetration, and ASR related cracking.
This white paper discusses how the PAVIX CCC100 technology works and its applications.
