ADK Consulting & Executive Search, a retained recruitment firm known for its expertise in senior executive searches in the aviation industry, announced the successful placement of Kevin Wu, A.A.E., IAP-ACI-ICAO, as Airport Operations Director – Emergency Services for the Charlotte Douglas International Airport (CLT). Mr. Wu will provide strategic leadership for all emergency-related functions across the airport, ensuring operational readiness, regulatory compliance, and coordinated response for emergency management, EMS, law enforcement support, and Airport Operations Center activities.

Mr. Wu brings extensive aviation management experience and strategic leadership to this position. He worked for the Broward County Aviation Department for nearly 15 years, most recently serving as Assistant Director of Airport Operations. In that role, he ensured the safety, efficiency and regulatory compliance across all airport operational areas. He also served as Airport Manager overseeing the departments of Emergency Management, Airside Operations and Parking Operations.

Mr. Wu holds a bachelor’s degree in industrial technology / aviation administration from California State University and went on to receive his master’s degree in public administration from Nova Southeastern University. He is an Accredited Airport Executive (A.A.E.) of the American Association of Airport Executives and is certified as an International Airport Professional (IAP) by the Airports Council International (ACI) and the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO).
