As part of this expansion, AeroCloud is partnering with Phungela, a leading Digital Transformation Firm with strong regional expertise.

AeroCloud will deliver its cloud-native hardware and software platforms, while Phungela will provide local service and on-the-ground support to ensure airports across Africa benefit from fast, reliable and responsive operational capability.

This partnership reflects AeroCloud’s commitment to investing in local knowledge and building long-term relationships with airport teams.

With Phungela’s understanding of the African aviation landscape and AeroCloud’s proven platform, together we will help airports increase efficiency, improve passenger flow and unlock new operational capacity without the need for additional infrastructure.

George Richardson, CEO and Co-Founder of AeroCloud, said:
“Entering the African market is a proud moment for AeroCloud and a natural step in our global journey. When I started this company, the mission was simple: build technology that empowers airport teams and helps them operate with more confidence, clarity and capacity. Our growth over the past few years shows that airports everywhere are ready for a more modern approach.

Airports don’t just need brilliant technology products; they need technology partners. Africa is a prime target due to Air Transport being essential, Airports operate on the continent together in groups, very similar to the USA. I think we will be hugely successful.

Partnering with Phungela reinforces our belief that the best outcomes happen when local expertise and innovative technology come together. Their on-the-ground support and strong regional insight mean we can deliver impact from day one. We are excited to work alongside them and to support airports across Africa as they move toward the future of operations.”

Nkululeko Mhlaba, Chief Executive Officer at Phungela, said:
“Our partnership with AeroCloud positions Phungela as a strategic digital transformation partner to Africa’s aviation ecosystem. Together, we are bringing cloud-led innovation, data intelligence and scalable platforms to an industry that is central to the continent’s economic connectivity. This collaboration is not only about modernising airports. It is about enabling a more efficient, predictive and passenger-centred aviation sector. We are proud to work alongside AeroCloud to help shape the next chapter of Africa’s digital infrastructure.”

Together with Phungela, we are ready to support airport teams across Africa and help them achieve more efficient and effective operations. This expansion reflects the momentum behind AeroCloud as we continue to bring modern airport technology to new regions through strong local partnerships.
