The Martin County Board of County Commissioners is seeking applications from individuals interested in being considered for appointment to fill vacancies on the Airport Noise Advisory Committee. All individuals serve without compensation and are requested to apply for appointment to Martin County Administration by Friday, August 1, 2025. POWERS & DUTIES OF THE COMMITTEE: The Committee was created pursuant to the recommendation of the Part 150 Noise Study Planning Advisory Team. The Committee shall have the duty and responsibility to make recommendations to the Board of County Commissioners concerning the implementation of the operational and land use mitigation measures adopted in the
Federal Aviation Regulation Part 150 Study.

Vacant Positions: A representative from an industry trade group or an airport tenant, an aircraft owner who has aircraft based at Witham Field, and a resident from within a two-statute mile radius of the Airport. Each member shall be a Martin County resident. Meetings are typically held quarterly on the fourth Thursday of the month at 10:00 am at the Airport Maintenance Building Conference Room, 1895 Flying Fortress Way, Stuart. The next meetings are July 24 and October 23.
