Airports Authority Issues 2022 Corporate Social Responsibility Report

Report recaps a year of transformation for the airports and the local community 

The Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority has published its fourth annual Corporate Social Responsibility report to provide the public an in-depth view of the goals, philosophies, initiatives and accomplishments supporting its commitment to serve to the traveling public, contribute to regional economic development and further expand its corporate citizenship.  

The report provides an in-depth review of successes in 2022 in six categories: environment, people, community, supplier diversity, governance and safety and security. The nearly 100-page report illustrates a variety of measurable ways the Airports Authority uses its organizational resources for its ongoing commitment to sustainability, passengers, stakeholders and the community. 

About the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority                                     

The Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority operates the U.S. Capital Region’s gateways to the nation and the world, Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport and Washington Dulles International Airport, the Dulles Airport Access Highway and the Dulles Toll Road. The Authority also managed construction of the Silver Line, a 23-mile extension of the Washington region’s Metrorail public transit system through northern Virginia, which began service to Dulles International in 2022.
