Call for Sustainability Award Nominations

CHICAGO, July 23, 2020 — Each year, the Airports Going Green (AGG) Awards celebrate sustainability accomplishments in the aviation industry. The nomination period for this year’s awards is now open.

You are invited to nominate projects, programs, initiatives or individuals that exemplify sustainability leadership in the aviation industry. Self-nominations are acceptable!

Nomination forms are available via email request to admin@airportsgoinggreen.org

Submissions will be accepted through August 21, 2020.

The announcement of the winners will be on October 14, 2020 via the AGG website.

The Awards are presented annually by the Chicago Department of Aviation (CDA) at the Airports Going Green Conference, which was founded by the CDA in 2007. This year, Airports Going Green and the Awards Presentation will be held as a virtual event in mid-November 2020, and will focus on a specific topic relevant to innovations in aviation sustainability. Stay tuned for information about this exciting event!

The Airports Going Green Conference and Awards Program were established with the belief that industry sharing and recognition are key elements to advancing sustainability achievement and innovation.
