“Our team recognizes how important the NFL Draft is for our local community and how preparing for an influx of passengers is mission-critical,” said Executive Air General Manager Jim Prast. “Based in the home city of an NFL team, we see increased traffic during the football season, so we are prepared to manage it effectively and provide travelers with an unforgettable experience.”

The FBOs are working closely with the airport and federal agencies to ensure as many aircraft can fit on the ramp as possible.

“While Green Bay is the smallest NFL market, it is fully capable of hosting such a large event,” said Jet Air Group CEO Alan Timmerman. “Our team is collaborating diligently with local and national partners to help increase accessibility of our community to our customers.”

The FBOs are also rolling out the red carpet when it comes to NFL Draft week festivities. Pilots and their passengers can expect next level service at both FBO’s at GRB. It’s service that has brought back private aircraft every year for NFL games and the annual EAA AirVenture in Oshkosh.

“Flying into GRB means you touchdown right where all the action happens,” said Airport Director Marty Piette. “We are thankful for our FBO partners who help provide these additional services and help our airport handle the capacity of large-scale events like the NFL Draft.”

Visitors will find access to a variety of ground transportation options directly on airport property. The airport is home to major car rental companies, including Avis/Budget, Enterprise,Hertz and Alamo/National. Additionally, GRB provides car-sharing services through Turo, taxicab, limousine and shuttles from several local vendors as well as availability of ride-share services such as Lyft and Uber directly from the front entrance of the airport.

“Our airport offers a variety of ways to get to our community, whether it is commercial or private,” said Brown County Executive Troy Streckenbach. “Once you get here, you will be met with high-quality amenities and convenient services across the property.”
