Cinematic general aviation mini documentary

FREDERICK, Md., January 13, 2025—The Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association has released its second AOPA Presents mini documentary, “Hops Across the Rockies.” Filmed and edited by AOPA Video Content Producer Brianna Cabassa, Hops Across the Rockies follows FlyteCo Brewing founder Eric Serani, who demonstrates how general aviation flights across the Rocky Mountains enable his business to pick up hops and brew the freshest beer possible. Watch it Here.

“Flying with friends over a mountain range with beautiful scenery to pick up something as simple as hops is something you don’t hear about a lot,” said Cabassa. “It’s a very wholesome story that I think defines what GA is and what makes it special.”

AOPA Presents is a twice annual series of 10- to 25-minute mini documentaries produced by AOPA in-house cinematographers. These films bring alive stories of why people love to fly, through stunning visuals and captivating storylines.

The series premiered June 2024 on AOPA’s YouTube channel with “Wings of the Iditarod”—the story of the pilots who help enable the iconic Alaskan race.
