One of the leading experts in baggage/cargo handling and passenger transport is bringing two of its latest solutions to Passenger Terminal Expo (PTE) 2026.
Aurrigo International plc, which has already operated at twelve international airports, will be displaying its Auto Dolly-Tug® and Auto-Shuttle® on stand E165 at Excel in London tomorrow (17th to 19th March).
The autonomous vehicles are two of the biggest innovations to emerge in aviation in 40 years by helping airports improve their sustainability and improve the way they move luggage and passengers airside.
Visitors to PTE World will be able to explore the technology firsthand, as well as meeting a host of the company’s experts to talk through industry pain points and real-world operational challenges.
Aurrigo’s Executive Team will also be there to open the show on Tuesday and are keen to connect with both existing and new customers.
Tenille Houston, VP Public Relations and Communications, commented: “This is a very exciting time to be bringing our solutions to a global audience at one of the sector’s biggest shows.
“We have enjoyed significant success in engaging with airports across the world and are currently deployed in eight live trials at locations, including Cincinnati, Schiphol, Zurich, and, closer to home, at East Midlands and Teesside in the UK.”
“An increasing number of operators are switching on to the environmental, operational and performance benefits our autonomous technology can bring airside, from moving luggage and cargo around airports to transporting staff and passengers over short distances.”
She went on to add: “PTE World is the perfect place to start more conversations about how we can help save money, cut costs and make ground handling more efficient.”
Auto Dolly-Tug®, which leads the future of intelligent ground support equipment (iGSE), is an all-electric autonomous vehicle boasting the ability to automatically load and unload up to one ULD on board and four conventional dollies in tow.
It delivers unparalleled manoeuvrability thanks to its bi-directional sideways movements with a full 360° rotation enabling close quarter operations at aircraft stands or in baggage halls.
Auto-Shuttle® will also be making its way from East Midlands Airport to be live on the stand.
The ten-seater passenger vehicle is fully autonomous and has been designed to provide a transport solution for crew and VIP movements.
Tenille concluded: “We are heading to Passenger Terminal Expo after an exciting few months that have seen us raise an additional £14.1m to help us scale production.
“This was quickly followed by our largest ever contract win to build 25 autonomous guided vehicles for Ultra Global – further evidence that our track record in delivering world class autonomy is growing.”
Experts from Aurrigo International will also be supporting Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport’s stand (D262) for the duration of PTE World 2026, highlighting the collaboration and desire for innovation between the two organisations.
