Casper / Natrona County International Airport Records 13-Year High in First Quarter Enplanements

Apr 7, 2026 | News

CASPER, WY – The Casper/Natrona County International Airport (C/NCIA) has reported 24,270 total enplanements, or passengers boarding aircraft in Casper, for the first quarter of 2026. This is the highest number of annual enplanements C/NCIA has seen in Q1 of a year since 2013.

After experiencing a steep decline in passengers during 2020, due to the pandemic, C/NCIA enplanement numbers have been steadily increasing since.

“2026 has been a great year for us so far,” said Airport Director Glenn Januska. “After exceeding 103,000 enplaned passengers for 2025, we are continuing to see more passengers choosing their local airport, with an 8% increase over 2025 to date.”

This record number of passengers highlights the strengthening Wyoming air service market, and the growing number of passengers choosing to fly locally instead of driving to alternative airports.

“We appreciate every person who has flown through Casper and look forward to continuing to serve the community,” said Januska.
