SPRINGFIELD, Ill. — Alec Drum, E.I., electrical designer, recently joined Hanson Professional Services Inc.’s Springfield headquarters. He will assist with electrical engineering services for projects, focusing on runway and taxiway lighting designs at airports.

Drum was previously an electrical engineer for a national engineering firm in Springfield. He received a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville and is a member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers.
