Interview Opportunities with Airline/Airport Spokespersons; Gate Celebration Planned, Including a Ribbon Cutting, and Ambassador Animals From the Woodland Park Zoo

EVERETT, Wash. — May 30, 2025 — Frontier Airlines will make its debut at Seattle Paine Field International Airport (PAE) on Monday, June 2 with its inaugural flights to Denver International Airport (DEN), Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport (PHX) and Harry Reid International Airport in Las Vegas (LAS).
Each of Frontier’s arriving flights on Monday will be greeted with a water cannon salute, along with the first departing flight from PAE. A gate celebration will be held for passengers featuring snacks, swag giveaways and a ribbon cutting. Animals from the Woodland Park Zoo’s Ambassador Animal Team will be at the airport as well, in a nod to the animals on every Frontier plane tail. Airline and airport spokespersons will be available throughout the morning for interviews.

- Gate celebration plus Woodland Park Zoo’s Ambassador Animals in the terminal area will begin at approximately 10 a.m. PDT.
- First flight is scheduled to arrive to a water cannon salute at approx. 10:35 a.m. PDT.
- Celebratory ribbon cutting to occur in gate area at approx. 10.45 a.m. PDT, prior to departure of first flight from PAE.
