MINNEAPOLIS, October 29, 2024—GateKeeper Systems Inc., a leader in commercial vehicle management, airfield inspection, and transportation network company management systems for airports, today announced the successful implementation of their automated eDispatch system with virtual taxi queue and AdComp financial module at the Southwest Florida International Airport (RSW).
As an additional component to the existing GateKeeper CVMS ground transportation management system (GTMS) in operation at RSW, GateKeeper eDispatch is a powerful tool which automatically manages the flow of vehicles to designated passenger pickup areas, ensuring demand is quickly met, thereby reducing both passenger and driver’s wait times. It is paired with a “virtual queue” which enables drivers to enter the dispatch queue via a GateKeeper application, eliminating the need for drivers to come to the airport and wait in a staging lot before they are needed for pickups.
GateKeeper eDispatch revolutionizes airport dispatch systems, allowing airports to reallocate limited physical resources, reduce traffic congestion, and provide a more efficient and effective experience for passengers while giving drivers greater flexibility and opportunities to perform business.
GateKeeper Systems also implemented the AdComp Financial module to RSW. This PCI-compliant accounting system supported by AdComp Systems Group, specialists in electronic accounts receivable systems, provides automatic charge deductions, invoice tracking, and credit card processing, streamlining RSW’s ground transportation accounting processes and ensuring a maximum capture of revenue.
