Hanson promotes Smith, Stolz to assistant vice president

Hanson Professional Services Inc.’s board of directors recently elected Clinton Smith, P.E., CFM, and Barry Stolz, P.E., to the officer title of assistant vice president.

Smith, who works at the Jacksonville, Florida, office, is Hanson’s Florida infrastructure discipline manager. He designs roadways and stormwater systems, manages projects and coordinates workflows for Hanson’s Florida infrastructure team. He joined the company in 2013, when Hanson acquired Bowen Civil Engineering Inc., and is a licensed professional engineer in Florida and a certified floodplain manager.

Stolz, a regional aviation lead, joined the firm in 2012 and works at the St. Charles, Missouri, office. He provides project management and design for airport projects. He is a licensed professional engineer in several states, including Missouri, and a member of the American Association of Airport Executives, Aviation Indiana, Illinois Aviation Trades Association, Illinois Public Airports Association, Missouri Airport Managers Association, Missouri State Aviation Council and the Society of American Military Engineers.
