SEATTLE – Traveling through A Concourse at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA) is now even sweeter with the arrival of Lowrider Cookie Company and The Confectionery , two local, women-owned businesses, open near Gate A1. They are the latest businesses to join the SEA kiosk program, which opens opportunities for small businesses to take short-term leases at small kiosk locations across the airport. Their arrival makes A Concourse a dessert lover’s dream destination, as both are located next to another local, women-owned partner, Lady Yum.

“In our conversations with both Lowrider Cookie Company and The Confectionery they mentioned they’ve always wanted to open at SEA, and we’re overjoyed to make that dream come true,” said Khalia Moore, senior manager of SEA’s airport dining and retail program.

“The SEA kiosk program is our tool to open the doors for small local businesses to operate in an airport environment. That includes building more partnerships with ACDBE and WMBE businesses. Both Lowrider and The Confectionery already have their fans around the Pacific Northwest, so I have no doubt that guests are going to love the opportunity to pick up some delicious cookies or candies before their flight, or to bring to family and friends around the world.”
