Indy Airport Kicks Off Holiday 2025 Showcase

December rings in holiday cheer with musical performances

INDIANAPOLIS (Dec. 12, 2025) – Starting today, the sound of holiday cheer will fill the Indianapolis International Airport (IND) terminal as special holiday music and performances by local musicians and school groups kicks off for the month of December.

These performances make great backdrops for holiday travel and weather news stories.

Travelers can enjoy special performances daily Dec. 12 – 24. Each day will offer a unique musical experience, celebrating the season with a mix of jazz, gospel, classical, pop, country, and instrumental ensembles.

Blair Clark will open the Indy airport’s 2025 holiday showcase, with young Hoosier pianists, and DJ Don’s yuletide playlists. Performers range from Elias Gomez, the Indy Winds Flute Choir, country-favorite Tim Wright, Klezmer Quartet, Carmel High School vocalists, the Castlewood Singers, local jazz icons Brenda Williams and Valerie Phelps, pop newcomer Elizabeth Lee, and harpist Jan Aldridge Clark.

The daily schedule is listed below with details about each performance.

Friday 12/12 It’s Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas

 

11 a.m. – 3 p.m. — Holiday showcase will start off with Blair Clark, who will host a variety of entertainers to kick off the season, including Monte Parker on vocal and keyboard, Gospel Trio blending gospel style harmony with holiday songs and a vocal ensemble from Carmel High School.

 

4 p.m. – 5 p.m. — The music continues with the Castlewood Singers, a choir of 40 voices.

 

 

Saturday 12/13  Tickling the Ivories

 

9:30 a.m. – 6 p.m. – Young Hoosier Pianists, an annual crowd favorite of performances from students ages 6 – 8, will showcase their talents with holiday sounds in this Tickling the Ivories showcase.

 

 

Sunday 12/14 Yuletide Favorites

 

11 a.m. – 5 p.m. – Featuring playlists by IND’s “in-house DJ” Don Masters.

 

4 p.m. – 5 p.m. – Capital City Chorus, an Indy women’s choir and chapter of the Sweet Adelines International, will perform holiday songs a cappella in the barbershop style.

 

Monday 12/15 Cozy Christmas

 

11 a.m. – 2 p.m. – Enjoy the midday with easy listening and classical guitar with John Alvarado.

 

2 p.m. – 5 p.m. – Casey Harshbarger will take the stage to continue the afternoon with her own easy-listening and classical guitar style.

 

 

Tuesday 12/16 Hanukkah Holiday

 

11 a.m. – 2 p.m. – Musical performances with the Klezmer Quartet will celebrate Hanukkah, Jewish and secular music.

 

2 p.m. – 5 p.m. — The Lockerbie String Quartet will continue the day’s festivities with klezmer fiddling.

 

 

Wednesday 12/17 Merry “Jazzmas”

 

11 a.m. – 2 p.m. – Brenda Williams, one of Indy’s leading ladies of jazz, will take the stage to kick off Merry “Jazzmas.”

 

2 p.m. – 5 p.m. – The Valerie Phelps Trio will take the stage in the afternoon to perform their own version of Jazzmas.

 

 

Thursday 12/18  Pop Christmas

 

11 a.m. – 2 p.m. – Elizabeth Lee will bring a little bit of country and a little bit of pop to Civic Plaza as part of the day’s Pop Christmas celebration.

 

2 p.m. – 5 p.m. – The Pop Christmas showcase will continue with duo Anneliese and Ali as they soothe holiday travelers with their relaxing and calming musical voices.

 

 

Friday 12/19 Instrumental Choirs

 

11 a.m. – 12 p.m. – The day’s entertainment will lead off with the Indy Winds Flute Choir, featuring more than 20 flutists.

 

4 p.m. – 5 p.m. – The Indianapolis Clarinet Ensemble will bring holiday cheer to airport guests through the magic of instrumental music.

 

5 p.m. – 6 p.m. – The Raccoon Lake Sax Quartet will round out the day with their own instrumental renditions of holiday classics.

 

 

Saturday 12/20 and Sunday 12/21 Movie Memories

 

11 a.m. – 5 p.m. – DJ Don will fill the airport terminal with favorite holiday classics, bringing travelers performances with accompanying film clips through the decades.

 

 

Monday 12/22 Sounds of the Season

 

11 a.m. – 2 p.m. – The beautiful voice of Heather Lake Bays will bring holiday magic into the afternoon with beloved sounds of the season.

 

2 p.m. – 5 p.m. – Multi-talented musician Bruce Nunnelly will kick off the day with a festive medley of piano, flute and saxophone

 

 

Tuesday 12/23 Country Christmas

 

11 a.m. – 2 p.m. – Tim Wright and Catherine Federspiel a crowd favorite in Central Indiana, will blend harmonies and acoustic guitar to create a country Christmas.

 

2 p.m. – 5 p.m. – Known as the “Cuban Cowboy” on The Voice, Elias Gomez will charm airport guests with his performance in Civic Plaza.

 

 

Wednesday 12/24 Peace on Earth

 

11 a.m. – 3 p.m. – Perennial favorite Jan Aldridge Clark will grace Civic Plaza with her lovely harp and keyboard performances as she closes out the Holiday 2025 Showcase on Christmas Eve.
