ORLANDO, FL. – As a result of the presidential proclamation by President Donald J. Trump restricting specific international travel into the United States, flights to and from Orlando International Airport may be affected. The proclamation suspends the entry of most foreign nationals coming to the United States if they have visited certain European countries during the two weeks prior to their scheduled arrival.

Specifically, international visitors will not be allowed to come to the U.S. if they have visited the following countries: Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, and Switzerland. This area is known as the Schengen Area of Europe.

Approximately 92 inbound flights could be affected during the 30-day restricted travel period.

Potentially affected airlines and the destinations they service include:
 Delta Air Lines — Amsterdam, Netherlands
 Icelandair – Reykjavík, Iceland
 Lufthansa – Frankfurt, Germany
 Norwegian Airlines – Paris, France & Oslo, Norway

The U.S. Department of Homeland Security Acting Secretary Chad F. Wolf announced that within the next two days he intends to begin a supplemental Notice of Arrivals Restriction. That restriction would require U.S. passengers that have been in the Schengen Area to travel through select airports where the U.S. Government has implemented enhanced screening procedures.

Orlando International is not a screening airport.
