J|D RoVolus Joint Venture Awarded Federal Aviation Administration PEARS II Contract

Washington, DC Jacobsen|Daniels (J|D) (J|D) is pleased to announce that the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) awarded the J|D RoVolus Joint Venture a multi-year, multi-million dollar contract for Policy, Engineering, Analysis, and Research Support (PEARS II). Through this venture, J|D will provide services to the FAA’s Office of Environment and Energy, Airports Planning and Environmental Division, and FAA’s Air Traffic Organization’s Environmental Programs Group and Office of Modeling and Simulation.

“This contract is integral to the expansion of our planning services and our Baltimore–Washington, DC office,” said Matt Johnson, Senior Vice President of the Planning Division. “In serving the FAA, we have new opportunities to carry out our mission as a company to improve the journey for our industry as a whole.”

Under the PEARS II contract, the J|D Rovolus Team will provide a broad range of technical services, including model and analysis tool design, development and application; knowledge management; airspace engineering; human factors engineering; and software design, development, test and implementation. Other technical services J|D will provide include airport, air traffic, and airspace environmental analysis and support; regulatory and program guidance; policy development; and conference, committee and working group support.
