JMT Welcomes Larry Bauman, PE, CM

JMT is pleased to announce that Larry Bauman, PE, CM, has joined JMT as a Vice President in our Aviation group in Sparks, MD. He will provide strategic leadership and play a central role in business development and client/program management for JMT’s aviation clients.

Mr. Bauman has 37 years of experience in the aviation industry. He has performed and successfully managed multiple consultant teams in airside and landside design projects, planning and programming of airside and landside improvements, development of new terminals, preparation of land use plans for non-aeronautical uses, and other assignments related to the successful operation of airports.

Larry’s expertise has benefitted some of the nation’s largest airports, such as BWI Marshall, Newark Liberty International, LaGuardia, Cleveland Hopkins International, San Antonio International, Houston’s George Bush Intercontinental, and Atlantic City International. He also managed aviation system planning assignments for the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation Bureau of Aviation, the Virginia Department of Aviation, and the New Orleans Regional Planning Commission. Previously, Larry served seven years as the Facility Planning Manager for Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport.

Mr. Bauman earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology. He is registered as a Professional Engineer in Florida and earned designation as a Certified Manager from the American Association of Airport Executives (AAAE). He is a member of AAAE and the American Society of Civil Engineers.
