July 2025 Passenger, Cargo Traffic at Austin-Bergstrom International Airport

AUSTIN, TEXAS – Austin-Bergstrom International Airport (AUS) passenger traffic growth for July 2025 was down 0.17% compared to July 2024 with 2,036,077 passengers flying during the month.

Passenger Activity: Total passenger traffic for July 2025 was 2,036,077, down 0.17% compared to July 2024. July 2025 enplanements totaled 1,015,498, up 0.11%.

Southwest Airlines passengers totaled 834,101, down 1.5%; Delta Air Lines passengers totaled 374,211, up 22.5%; American Airlines passengers totaled 322,760, down 18.6%;United Airlines passengers totaled 230,736, up 2.8%; Alaska Airlines passengers totaled 70,270, down 5.1%; Frontier Airlines passengers totaled 48,613, up 143.1%;Allegiant Air passengers totaled 32,893, down 25.6%; Spirit Airlines passengers totaled 31,249, up 17.3%; British Airways passengers totaled 25,499, up 40.5%; Air Canadapassengers totaled 16,075, down 5.5%; Aeromexico passengers totaled 10,721, up 14%;Lufthansa passengers totaled 10,329, down 13.1%; JetBlue Airways passengers totaled 7,998, down 55%;  KLM Royal Dutch Airlines passengers totaled 6,769, down 4.1%;Copa Airlines passengers totaled 5,173, down 8.3%; VivaAerobus passengers totaled 3,988, down 7%; WestJet passengers totaled 3,605, up 53.1%; and Sun Country Airlinespassengers totaled 1,087, up 36.4%.

July 2025 air cargo totaled 22,718,483 lbs., down 12.33% compared to July 2024.

International air cargo totaled 2,279,016 lbs., down 0.65%.

Air Transport International carried 9,642,409 lbs., up 16.5%; Federal Express carried 4,163,795 lbs., down 40.9%; United Parcel Services carried 2,727,622 lbs., up 15.8%; and Sun Country Airlines carried 1,672,901 lbs., down 3.6%.

Air Services transferred 3 lbs. of mail, down 99.99%; and 3,117,555 lbs. of belly freight, down 13.75%.

Aircraft Operations: General Aviation operations totaled 3,049, up 6.76%. Combined operations (including commercial and military) totaled 22,903, up 4.6%.

Passenger Activity: Total passenger traffic for January – July 2025 was 12,364,962, down 3.86% compared to January – July 2024. January – July 2025 enplanements totaled 6,212,565, down 3.63%.

International air cargo totaled 17,596,681 lbs., up 8.47%.

Air Transport International carried 61,640,634 lbs., up 7.8%; Federal Express carried 27,142,126 lbs., down 42.7%; United Parcel Services carried 17,669,393 lbs., up 7.5%; and Sun Country Airlines carried 12,404,774 lbs., up 12.3%.

Air Services transferred 39,026 lbs. of mail, down 92.16%; and 21,837,000 lbs. of belly freight, down 6.21%.

Aircraft Operations: General Aviation operations totaled 23,710 for January – July 2025, down 1.37%. Combined operations (including commercial and military) totaled 150,721, down 0.65%.
