Kabin Redefines the Airport Experience for the Modern Traveler

Jul 7, 2025 | News

At the Passenger Terminal Expo in Madrid, Kabin garnered significant attention for its innovative approach to airport lounge design. For the modern business traveler, time spent in an airport lounge is valuable but often filled with distractions. Kabin offers something increasingly rare: a truly private and focused space.

Business travelers move through their journey wrapped in comfort, from the privacy of their office or home, to the calm of a chauffeured ride and the ease of a business class seat. Every step is designed for performance and peace of mind. Yet in between — in the airport lounge, where they spend up to two hours before departure — this comfort can quickly fade. Modern lounges, while designed to be exclusive and comfortable, are no longer the quiet havens they once were. Often crowded and distracting, here travelers hesitate to make calls, knowing they might be interrupted or risk disturbing others. The lack of privacy makes it harder to concentrate, especially when the work at hand requires discretion or clarity.

Kabin was created to solve that gap with a fully enclosed, technology-integrated pod that offers both performance and peace of mind. It’s not just about functionality anymore. It’s about experience. Each Kabin unit is private, compact, and beautifully designed. Its shape is inspired by long-haul first-class travel, offering comfort, quiet, and a sense of separation without isolation. Inside, travelers can concentrate, take confidential calls, or simply decompress.

The intuitive Kabin Control system allows travelers to manage their experience directly from inside the pod. Timers can be set to match flight schedules, and real-time updates are displayed without disruptive announcements. Coffee or snacks can be easily ordered without leaving the seat. Through the partnership with GoBright travelers can book their pod in advance ensuring they have the space when they need it most. Airports and lounge operators also benefit: Kabin is fully brandable, easy to install, and doesn’t require extensive construction, permits, or downtime.

In Madrid, Kabin stood out because it directly responded to a growing need within airports — the demand for private, quiet spaces in environments that are increasingly designed for movement rather than a meaningful pause.

As airports continue to transform into dynamic hubs of business, leisure, and connection, the demand for spaces that nurture focus, privacy, and calm has never been greater. Kabin doesn’t just meet this need — it reimagines the airport experience, turning every pause into a moment of clarity and purpose.
