Washington, DC – Jacobsen|Daniels (J|D) is pleased to have Mamie W. Mallory join the team as Associate Vice President, Government Affairs. As a governmental affairs advisor, she will develop strategies to leverage J|D’s current relationships and provide strategic direction for the firm’s business development and operational leadership.
Prior to joining J|D, Mallory was the Assistant Administrator for Civil Rights (ACR) for the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). She was the principal advisor to the FAA Administrator on civil rights, equal employment opportunity, diversity, and affirmative action. Mallory also served as the FAA Diversity Advocate for their employees, and she managed the agency’s efforts to eliminate unlawful discrimination in federally-operated and -assisted FAA transportation programs at airports.
During her tenure with the FAA, Mallory also served as the FAA Director of Aviation Logistics in the Regions and Center Organization. As Director, she led and integrated FAA’s logistics initiatives and provided solutions for real property management issues. She also directed the Department of Transportation (DOT) and FAA real property management efforts in coordination with the Office of Management and Budget and the DOT Assistant Secretary for Administration.
Throughout her career, Mallory has served as an advocate for civil rights and diversity. She has committed herself to ensure accessibility, opportunity, and advancement to all. She holds a Master of Science degree in Engineering Management from The George Washington University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from North Carolina State University.
