May 2025 Passenger, Cargo Traffic at Austin-Bergstrom International Airport

AUSTIN, TEXAS – Austin-Bergstrom International Airport (AUS) passenger traffic growth for May 2025 was down 6.43% compared to May 2024 with 1,935,429 passengers flying during the month.

Southwest Airlines passengers totaled 795,343, down 8.7%; Delta Air Lines passengers totaled 350,768, up 5.4%; American Airlines passengers totaled 309,126, down 21.7%; United Airlines passengers totaled 231,296, up 4.7%; Alaska Airlines passengers totaled 61,866, down 12%; Frontier Airlines passengers totaled 43,877, up 146.7%; Spirit Airlines passengers totaled 37,494, down 0.7%; British Airways passengers totaled 25,880, up 42.7%; Allegiant Air passengers totaled 20,215, down 41.4%; Air Canada passengers totaled 14,571, down 6.7%; Lufthansa passengers totaled 9,454, up 48.5%; Aeromexico passengers totaled 8,458, up 55.7%; JetBlue Airways passengers totaled 8,184, down 49.4%; KLM Royal Dutch Airlines passengers totaled 6,937, down 0.4%; Copa Airlines passengers totaled 5,249, down 1.8%;VivaAerobus passengers totaled 3,504, up 24.1%; WestJet passengers totaled 1,920, down 19.8%; Sun Country Airlines passengers totaled 1,093, down 41.6%; and Privilege Style S.A. passengers totaled 194.

May 2025 air cargo totaled 23,353,261 lbs., down 11.66% compared to May 2024.

International air cargo totaled 2,337,814 lbs., up 17.20%.

Air Transport International carried 9,943,314 lbs., up 26.8%; Federal Express carried 4,057,708 lbs., down 46.6%; United Parcel Services carried 2,635,088 lbs., up 5.5%; and Sun Country Airlines carried 2,072,554 lbs., up 7.2%.

Air Services transferred 1 lb. of mail, down 100%; and 3,086,364 lbs. of belly freight, down 7.72%.

Aircraft Operations: General Aviation operations totaled 3,451, up 0.58%. Combined operations (including commercial and military) totaled 22,783, down 0.80%.
