Free online guide helps visitors explore MIA’s award-winning art program

MIAMI, FLORIDA, December 5, 2025 – Miami International Airport has launched a new digital guide for its award-winning arts and exhibitions program, MIA Galleries, on Bloomberg Connects, the free arts and culture app created by Bloomberg Philanthropies.

MIA Galleries is now more accessible for both on-site and off-site visits via the online guide’s photo, audio, and video content and wayfinding maps, which provide updates on current exhibitions and artwork on display, upcoming artist demonstrations, performances, and cultural events, past exhibitions, and selections from Miami-Dade County’s Art in Public Places collection at MIA. The MIA Galleries guide also features best-in-class accessibility options, including screen reader support, zoom and font size adjustments, transcripts, subtitles, alternative text, and multilingual support via Google Translate.

The rich and diverse tapestry of Miami-Dade County’s arts community can be experienced through exhibitions and installations throughout the MIA terminal, and now—thanks to the MIA Galleries’ new digital guide—our visitors can dive deeper into that experience anywhere they go. During this year’s Miami Art Week, when thousands flock to our community to enjoy one of the world’s premier art festivals, travelers and residents alike can begin exploring our acclaimed arts program at MIA in more ways than one. This new guide also reflects our commitment to modernizing MIA and offering passengers an elevated, world-class experience from the moment they begin their journey.
