(Green Bay, Wis.) Everyone loves to avoid the extra travel planning that comes with coordinating connecting flights. With new non-stop flights out of Green Bay Austin Straubel International Airport (GRB), now you can eliminate one thing on your to-do list as you prepare for your next adventure.

GRB’s low-fare carriers, Frontier Airlines and Sun Country Airlines are bringing back non-stop flights to popular southern and western destinations during 2025. “With a New Year right around the corner, it’s the perfect time to reset after a busy holiday season,” said Marty Piette, Airport Director. “With these affordable flights, families have the opportunity to fly directly to their perfect vacation spot and ease the stress of traveling.”

Sun Country Airlines will resume its non-stop service to Southwest Florida International Airport (RSW) in Fort Myers starting on January 30, 2025 with flights on Sundays and Tuesdays. In May, Frontier Airlines will resume its non-stop service to Denver International Airport (DEN). You can book now for these Monday and Friday flights.

GRB will also be the gateway to Green Bay’s biggest event of the year – the 2025 NFL Draft. GRB and its various airlines are getting ready to bring fans from across the country to be part of the big celebration. Delta Airlines has announced additional non-stop flights to Green Bay that will be operating between April 23 and 27. Salt Lake City International Airport (SLC) and LaGuardia Airport (LGA) are two of the added non-stop locations. For those travelers looking to get out of town for the draft, service to Orlando International Airport (MCO)will also be a non-stop destination of choice. More service to Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL), Minneapolis-Saint Paul International Airport (MSP) and Detroit Metro Airport (DTW) have also been included.

“Anytime airlines commit to adding direct flights to our region, it’s a win-win for everyone,” says County Executive Troy Streckenbach. “We truly appreciate this investment in GRB and hope that our community will respond by supporting flying out of GRB.”

United Airlines has also added extra service to Chicago O’Hare International Airport (ORD). “It’s great to see airlines like Delta and United make these types of accommodations as the demand continues to grow,” said Piette, “We expect to see a major uptick in traffic for the draft and we’re excited about the opportunity to help football fans across the U.S. travel to Green Bay.”

GRB encourages travelers to keep checking airline’s websites for new routes and dates for both the upcoming NFL Draft and other destinations. GRB’s other airline partners, American Airlines and United Airlines also offer service to U.S. and international destinations through connecting hubs across the U.S.
