NEW TRAVEL EXPERIENCE ENERGIZES ORLANDO INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT

New arcade, candy shop and specialty retail collection bring even more fun to The Orlando Experience

 

 

 Nine new specialty retail shops, including Power Play Arcade, are enhancing the

travel experience at Orlando International Airport.

 

ORLANDO – Travelers through Orlando International Airport’s Main Terminal are enjoying an enhanced journey that features nine new retail destinations with energy, excitement and entertainment to create the ultimate Orlando experience.

The Greater Orlando Aviation Authority and Westfield partnered to redevelop nearly 10,000 square feet of space that includes luxury and specialty retail, plus a more than 2,000 square foot old-fashioned arcade.

Westfield transformed six existing spaces into nine new concepts that maximize the fun for Orlando travelers.

“Our guests expect the highest caliber travel experience at Orlando International Airport. Part of that expectation is a lineup of world-class retail destinations,” said Ray Anderson, Greater Orlando Aviation Authority Senior Director of Concessions and Properties. “The more quality options we can offer, the more enjoyable the visit.”

“Working with our partners at GOAA, we really wanted to extend the vacation for travelers and bring the excitement of Orlando into the airport,” said Dominic Lowe, Executive Vice President, Westfield Airports. “Whether it’s a family looking for an awesome way to pass the time or a business traveler who wants to relax before a meeting, there is something for everyone now.”

The new destinations include a wide array of options for travelers:
