Pasco, WA – Today, Alaska Airlines announced new nonstop service between Tri-Cities Airport (PSC) and Portland International Airport (PDX). The twice-daily route will begin operating June 10, 2026.
The new service to PDX has been residents’ most requested route from PSC since it was last served in 2018. The announcement means increased access to the Alaska Airlines network—including easier ways for Alaska Airlines’ customers to visit the Tri-Cities.
“We’re excited to grow in Pasco with our new service to Portland—Alaska’s fourth nonstop destination from the Tri-Cities Airport. Our new PDX service will conveniently connect our guests to additional nonstops across our network,” said Kirsten Amrine, vice president of revenue management and network planning at Alaska Airlines. “With two daily flights, we also paid close attention to the flight schedule, so flyers in Pasco can travel to Portland for the day by catching an early morning flight and returning home in the mid-afternoon or mid-evening.”
“Nonstop service to Portland has long been our community’s most-requested route,” shared Buck Taft, Director of Tri-Cities Airport. “We have spent years working to reconnect to PDX, and are thrilled to see Alaska Airlines strengthen Tri-Cities’ connectivity throughout the Pacific Northwest.”
Per Alaska Airlines’ website, the schedule of the flights will be:
| Flight Number | Departure Airport | Departure Time | Arrival Airport | Arrival Time |
| AS 3109 | PSC | 5:25 a.m. | PDX | 6:20 a.m. |
| AS 2471 | PDX | 2:31 p.m. | PSC | 3:22 p.m. |
| AS 2471 | PSC | 3:59 p.m. | PDX | 4:50 p.m. |
| AS 3108 | PDX | 9:40 p.m. | PSC | 10:34 p.m. |
The announcement continues PSC’s momentum in offering more seats and flights to the region. In 2025 the airport has seen new or enhanced service on routes to six destinations: Delta enhanced service to Minneapolis-St. Paul (MSP) and Salt Lake City (SLC); United Airlines upgraded the aircraft between PSC and Denver International Airport (DEN); Allegiant Airlines announced new nonstop service to Orange County, CA (SNA); and Alaska Airlines began nonstop service to Burbank (BUR) and now Portland.
Alaska Airlines already operates flights between Tri-Cities and Seattle (SEA), Los Angeles (LAX), and Hollywood Burbank (BUR). The airline will serve the PSC-PDX route year-round on a three-class Embraer 175, with 76 seats. Tickets are on sale now at alaskaair.com.
