Effective 1 July 2022, Norfolk Airport Authority has reorganized department structures and promoted several senior staff members. This reorganization will better align airport departments and leadership as we prepare for future growth and expansion. The updated organization was developed to serve as a blueprint for the future and was a major objective called for in the airport’s Strategic Plan.

Staff promotions include:

• Promotion of Steven C. Sterling to Chief of Staff responsible for the overall execution of the daily administration of the Authority and implementation of the Strategic Plan.
• Promotion of Anthony E. Rondeau to Chief Development Officer responsible for the future growth and development of the airport infrastructure as well as the day-to-day maintenance of our current facilities.
• Promotion of Sheila D. Ward to Chief Operations Officer responsible for the daily operations of the airport including airport operations, police, and fire.
• Promotion of Jarred M. Roenker to Chief Financial Officer responsible for managing the financial health of the airport including traditional and non-traditional revenue sources.
