October 2018 Top Passenger Month in BNA History

Torrid growth continues with more than 1.5 million passengers in October

NASHVILLE – Nashville International Airport (BNA) set a new monthly record for total number of passengers with 1,538,312 passengers in October 2018, a five percent increase over the previous record set in June 2018 (1,460,525 passengers) and a 17 percent increase over last October’s passenger volume (1,310,007 passengers).

Additionally, on the heels of this record-setting month, BNA set a new single-day record for departing passengers screened on Monday, Nov. 12, with 28,550 screened passengers. The previous single-day record was set Monday, Oct. 1 with 27,419 screened passengers.

On average, approximately 19,000 departing passengers are screened at BNA per day.

With more than 14.9 million passengers visiting each year, Nashville International Airport is the fourth fastest growing airport among the top 50 airports in North America. BNA serves 460 flights daily to more than 65 nonstop destinations. It is the 33rd busiest airport in the U.S.
