Peter Aarons Joins Jacobs as California Aviation Client Account Manager, Practice Leader

Los Angeles, CA – Jacobs (NYSE: J), a globally recognized full-service infrastructure solutions provider, has welcomed Peter Aarons as Client Account Manager/Practice Leader and Vice President for Aviation in California. Peter is an industry leader in airport development programs and will provide business development and relationship management for Jacobs’ engineering, design, project management and consulting services, strengthening the company’s leadership position in the aviation market and maintaining continued excellence for airport clients across the California transportation practice.

With nearly three decades of experience, Aarons has managed more than $1 billion in projects for major infrastructure programs, including program management, master planning, facility design and construction, commissioning and operational system design. He has provided on-site management and oversight for master plans and capital improvement programs for Los Angeles World Airports, San Diego International Airport and San Francisco International Airport.

Prior to joining Jacobs, Aarons served in key leadership and executive positions at major engineering and design firms. In addition, he served as program manager and deputy director for the San Diego County Regional Airport Authority’s (SDCRAA) $1.2 billion terminal development program- The GreenBuild. He also held a leadership position with the San Francisco International Airport Commission – City & County of San Francisco.

Peter is an alumni of the University of San Francisco, and is an active member of industry groups and stays current on industry trends and solutions through leadership positions with Airports Council International – North America (ACI-NA), The American Association of Airport Executives (AAAE), Airport Consultants Council (ACC), the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) and the Design-Build Institute of America (DBIA).
