ProDIGIQ Donates and Delivers over 100 pizzas to local Airport TSA Agents to assist during government shutdown.
Thousand Oaks, CA, January 23rd-25th, 2019 – ProDIGIQ’s CEO, Arpit Malaviya, President/CTO, Anita Venkataraman, and Marketing Associate, Michele Davis took to the road Wednesday, January 23rd and Thursday, January 24th to deliver pizzas to their local Southern California Airport’s TSA Agents.
The ProDIGIQ Team visited Ontario International Airport (ONT), Hollywood Burbank Airport (BUR), San Luis Obispo County Regional Airport (SBP), and Santa Maria Municipal Airport (SMX). With over 100 pizzas to deliver, ProDIGIQ sought to help the TSA Agents affected by the government shutdown.
Malaviya, Venkataraman, and Davis personally drove, picked up, and delivered pizzas to these Southern California Airports. They met with various members of the TSA teams and thanked them for their hard work, dedication, and resilience during this time. When asked about the experience Venkataraman stated, “It has been a privilege to be able to meet with the TSA staff at our local airports. Their sense of duty and commitment to ensuring the safety of airline passengers, despite the partial shutdown, has been truly inspiring.”
ProDIGIQ saw a need and sought to fill it. “We are not looking for a thank you or a pat on the back. The ones that deserve those are the TSA Agents coming to work with no pay.” Davis expressed. “We are looking to lead by example. We hope that by spreading the word, it will inspire others to do what they can, no matter how small, to help these individuals through their lapse in pay.” The shutdown may have temporarily ended; however, these individuals still have not received a paycheck.
