ATLANTA – (11.09.2021) – Raymond-Pond Full Services Solutions JV has been awarded a $2 billion pool contract by the U.S. Air Force Civil Engineer Center (AFCEC) to improve infrastructure facilities and utilities within the Continental United States. The AE Next Indefinite-Delivery, Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ) Multiple Award Task Order Contract (MATOC) for Architect-Engineer (AE) Services will be completed over a 10-year period.
“Our team is thrilled to continue strengthening our relationship with AFCEC and to support so many mission critical end users in the AFCEC Area of Responsibility,” said Michael Ramos, Executive Vice President of Raymond. “We truly believe that the Raymond-Pond team brings the best in technical ability, quality execution, and commitment to reliably serve our government partners.”
The AE Next Pool 3, General Infrastructure contract will include construction, repair, and alteration of utility and infrastructure requirements such as stormwater systems, water treatment systems, electrical systems, natural gas distribution systems, heating and cooling plants, roads and pavements, landscaping, and all other utility systems.
As a small business pool, the shared capacity contract allows the Raymond-Pond team to continue its long tradition of providing outstanding design services to U.S. Air Force and U.S. Space Force clients.
“AE Next Pool 3 is incredibly powerful, easy-to-use tool that provides our Air Force clients access to our military planning and design capabilities while supporting growth of small businesses,” said Gary Dorman, Air Force Client Account Manager of Pond. “Using decentralized ordering procedures, local Contracting Squadrons can use their own processes to evaluate contractors and make awards, providing easy access to our top-tier, in-house design staff while maintaining local control of the process. I think both Contracting and the USAF Civil Engineer community will appreciate the benefits of this new contracting tool.”
