RECENT INDUSTRY TRENDS – Recent TSA mandate with updated screening requirements for aviation employees has made a main objective for Rohde & Schwarz to be educating and updating airports on what their options are for the technology community to meet these requirements. -Security application of RF technology has been implemented into screening people. AIT machines use a technology called millimeter wave to detect metallic and non-metallic anomalies that could be concealed on a person’s body. Rohde & Schwarz are dedicated to bringing improvements to the TSA screening process to speed up security lines, make the passenger experience more friendly, and to improve overall security levels and outcomes. QPS Walk 2000-displayed in video -New generation walk-through millimeter wave scanner, which many airports are implementing to address recently updated screening requirements with the TSA mandate for aviation employees.
RECENT PROJECTS – Dallas-Fort Worth (DFW) purpose-built design portals for airport employee screening. Rohde & Schwarz also worked closely with DFW to develop their software to specifically address the unique needs for the aviation employee screening community.
