New initiative highlights local businesses while enhancing the guest experience
San Luis Obispo, CA – SLO County Airport (SBP) is proud to announce the launch of Small Business Partners, a new pilot program designed to spotlight local small businesses and bring the best of SLO CAL directly into the terminal for travelers to enjoy.
Through this program, small businesses from across the region will be invited to participate in rotating pop-up activations within the airport, offering local food, beverages, and merchandise that reflect the character, creativity, and entrepreneurial spirit of the Central Coast. The program is intended to feature multiple small businesses each month, providing variety for guests while creating meaningful exposure opportunities for participating businesses.
“Small Business Partners is about collaboration and connection,” said Supervisor Dawn Ortiz-Legg. “By welcoming local businesses into our airport, we’re helping raise awareness of the incredible entrepreneurs in our community while creating opportunities for them to reach new audiences. This program reflects our shared commitment to supporting small businesses and strengthening our local economy.”
The initiative also aligns with the airport’s ongoing focus on enhancing the guest experience and creating a strong sense of place.
