LAS VEGAS, NV – The Clark County Department of Aviation has named Karina Tarnowska Airport Manager for the North Las Vegas Airport (VGT). In this role, she will be responsible for the safe and efficient operations of VGT and Perkins Field, reporting to the Assistant Director of Aviation – General Aviation. Ms. Tarnowska has oversight of training, compliance, construction management, facility and airfield maintenance, line service, customer service, economic development and marketing activities. She began her new position on July 24, 2023.

Previously, Ms. Tarnowska was Program Manager for Air Elite, where she managed a global network of 84 FBO locations. Prior to that, she worked for the Clark County Department of Aviation as Manager, General Aviation Airports and Airport Customer Service Supervisor.

Ms. Tarnowska earned her bachelor’s degree in International Relations from the University College of Enterprise and Administration in Poland. She is an Airport Certified Employee (ACE) in Airfield Operations.
