
LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Melissa Vasher, P.E., a project manager at Hanson Professional Services Inc.’s Louisville office, recently celebrated 15 years of service with the company.
Vasher, who joined Hanson in 2011, has provided project management services, including for Blue Grass Airport’s Terminal Drive relocation and parking expansion; various projects for Tri-Cities Airport in Blountville, Tennessee, including land acquisition and obstruction mitigation work; multiple general aviation airport projects across the state; and building commissioning for the Elevate CVG terminal improvement program at Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport. She also assists on various industry projects across the region.
She earned a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering in 2001 from the University of Kentucky. She is a licensed professional engineer in Kentucky, Arizona, Tennessee and West Virginia and is a member of the Airport Consultants Council, American Council of Engineering Companies of Kentucky, American Society of Highway Engineers, Kentucky Aviation Association and Kentuckians for Better Transportation. She is the vice chair of this year’s American Association of Airport Executives/Airport Consultants Council Airport Planning, Design and Construction Symposium.
